Abstract

In the 21st century, digital technologies have become an integral part of almost every aspect of education, and foreign language teaching is no exception. This paper explores the significance of digitalization within the framework of linguodidactics — the science that investigates the theory and practice of language teaching. The article examines the main functions of digital tools, their didactic potential, and their influence on learner motivation, autonomy, and intercultural competence.
