Abstract

This paper investigates how language education contributes to the development of cultural understanding. It considers how acquiring a foreign or second language not only improves communication abilities but also fosters awareness and appreciation of different cultural values, customs, and social practices. The study underscores the close relationship between linguistic skills and intercultural awareness, highlighting that language learning acts as a bridge for fostering mutual understanding in a global context.
